siNUsoid v8: Code Hive Hackathon | Blockchain and Web3 | Hybrid Hackathon |2024

siNUsoid Hackathon is a platform for Web3 enthusiasts to put their skills to the test by tackling real-world challenges using Hive Blockchain technology. Participants will work on problem statements, and those who stand out will earn the opportunity to showcase their projects at siNUsoid, NIIT University's Annual Techfest. 

Description: 

siNUsoid Hackathon is an opportunity for Web3 enthusiasts to showcase their problem solving and solution development skills. Participants, working individually or in teams will be presented with problem statements that they must solve using Hive Blockchain technology (the documentation for which will be found in the link given below). Selected teams will be invited to siNUsoid, Annual Techfest of NIIT University to present their project and compete against other top-tier teams for the final prize. This event provides participants with a unique opportunity to engage with a large blockchain community, make valuable connections. The competition is open to students, professionals, and blockchain enthusiasts who are eager to put their skills to the test and contribute to the evolution of Web3.

Event Structure:

• Topic: Make any project/dApp and deploy it on Hive. The project/dApp should have the potential to bring in revenue.
• Round 1 (Ideation): This round will start on 1st September 2024 and end on 29th September 2024. All registered teams are to submit their proposed solution idea online on Hive’s discord channel. Based on these ideas and designs , shortlisted teams will advance to the next round. Discord link and submission format will be emailed on the team leader’s email id upon registration. 
• Round 2 (Project Development & Presentation): Shortlisted teams will be announced on 30th September 2024. In this round teams will have to develop fully functional projects based on the solution submitted by them. Participants can use any tech stack but the project must be deployed on Hive Blockchain. Project submission along with proper documentation to be submitted on Ecency by 2nd November 2024. Submission format will be emailed on the team leader’s email id upon registration. 
• Round 3 (Presentation): All teams that have submitted their final projects will be required to present it at siNUsoid on 9th November 2024. Teams who are available to attend are encouraged to do so and present it on campus. For those who are not able to attend, their presentations will be done online. There will be a QnA round after each presentation. Results will be announced during siNUsoid. Winning teams will receive their felicitation on fest if they are present.
  

Rules:

• Eligibility: The hackathon is open to individuals or teams of up to 5 members. Participants must register through hackathon organizers.
• Original Work: All submissions must be original and developed during the hackathon timeframe. Use of pre-existing open-source libraries and frameworks is allowed, but the core solution must be new.
• Submission: Projects must be submitted on Ecency by the deadline specified by the organizers. Make sure all links you submit are publicly visible and accessible. Only one submission per team.
• Technology Stack: Participants can use any tech stack but the project must be deployed on Hive Blockchain.
• Code of Conduct: Any form of harassment is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
• Disqualification: Violation of any rules will lead to disqualification. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team for unethical behavior or non-compliance with the rules.
