Ideation Round 1– 2 Page PDF Submission
Participants must submit a 2-page PDF detailing their innovative idea aligned with any of the 5 sustainability problem statements or a self-proposed theme. The idea should highlight feasibility, innovation, and potential impact.

We welcome students and professionals from all domains to participate in SPINFEST’25, a hackathon focused on sustainable solutions. Whether you're a developer, designer, or sustainability enthusiast, this is your chance to make an impact!
Eligibility:

Open to all students and professionals
Team Composition:
- Inter-college teams: Allowed
- Inter-specialization teams: Allowed (e.g., developers + designers + business minds)
- Team Size: 2-4 members (solo participation not allowed)
Problem Statements:
Participants can choose from 5 sustainability-themed challenges or propose their own innovative idea (must align with the hackathon’s theme). Example themes include:
- Circular Economy Solutions
- Green Tech for Waste Reduction
- Sustainable Urban Development
- Renewable Energy Innovations
- Eco-Friendly Consumer Products
- Other (innovative ideas welcome to represent)
Hackathon Format & Rounds:

Round 1 (Ideation Submission):
- Submit a 2-page PDF outlining your solution (innovation + feasibility)
- Duration: 48 hours after registration closes

Round 2 (Prototype Development):

Build a minimum viable product (MVP) and submit:
- Code (GitHub repo, public/private)
- 3-minute demo video (YouTube/Drive link)
- Technical documentation (PDF)

Final Round (Live Pitch):

Top teams present a 5-minute demo + Q&A to judges

Submission Requirements:
- Code: GitHub repository (mandatory)
- Demo Video: Clearly explain your solution (max 3 mins)
- Documentation: PDF covering your approach, tech stack, and sustainability impact
Rules:
- Original Work Only: No plagiarism; disclose third-party tools
- IP Rights: Participants retain ownership of their solutions
Judging Criteria:
- Innovation (30%) – How unique is the solution?
- Execution (30%) – Does the prototype work?
- Impact (20%) – Potential real-world sustainability benefits
- Presentation (20%) – Clarity and persuasiveness
