UDBHAV'26: The Ultimate 24-Hour Hackathon: Stages and Timelines

Online PPT Submission — Shortlisting Round

This is the first and mandatory stage of UDBHAV'26. All registered teams must submit a PowerPoint presentation (PPT or PDF) covering their proposed idea before the deadline. Submissions are reviewed by our organising panel, and the Top 50 Teams will be shortlisted to participate in the Grand Offline Hackathon.

WHAT YOUR SUBMISSION MUST INCLUDE:

  • Problem Statement: What problem are you solving?
  • Proposed Solution: Your approach and core idea
  • Track Selection: Which of the 5 tracks applies to your idea?
  • Tech Stack: Technologies, frameworks, and tools you plan to use
  • Team Introduction: Names and roles of all members

SHORTLISTING: Results will be announced via email and WhatsApp. Shortlisted teams will receive a confirmation email with further instructions for Stage 2.

NOTE: The ₹100 registration fee is non-refundable.

Grand 24-Hour Offline Hackathon — Sage University

This round is exclusively for teams shortlisted in Round 1. Shortlisted teams must confirm their participation by paying the offline entry fee of ₹800 per team + an optional ₹300 mentor fee (for dedicated mentor access). Slots are strictly limited to 50 teams and are allocated on a first-come-first-pay basis after shortlisting. ARRIVAL & ONBOARDING:→ Report at M Block, Sage University by 8:00 AM on 25th April→ Carry a valid College ID + any Government-issued Photo ID→ Check-in, kit handover, and room allocation at the onboarding desk. UDBHAV is the flagship 24-hour offline hackathon by Alta School of Technology, hosted at Sage University, Indore. This is not a hackathon where ideas sit in slide decks. It is an arena where student teams build, break, and ship real working products in a single unbroken sprint. Whether you are a developer, designer, data scientist, or domain expert, if you have the drive to create something real under pressure, This is your event.

How It Works — Two Stages

Stage 1 — Online PPT Submission Round (happening Right Here on Unstop)

Register on Unstop, Pay the ₹100 Registration Fee, and Submit a PowerPoint Presentation of Your Idea Before 15th April. Our Panel Reviews All Submissions and Shortlists the Top 50 Teams. Results Announced on 17th April.

Stage 2 — Grand 24-Hour Offline Hackathon (25th - 26th April, Sage University)

Shortlisted Teams Pay the Offline Entry Fee of ₹800 per Team (+ Optional ₹300 Mentor Fee) to Confirm Their Slot. Show up At Sage University on 25th April and Build for 24 Uninterrupted Hours — with Mentors, Meals, Rest Zones, and Energy to Push Through the Night.

Hackathon Tracks — Choose Your Domain

All Teams Must Choose One Track at The Time of PPT submission. Specific Problem Statements Will Be Dropped at The Event Kickoff (10:45 AM, 25th April).

Track 1 — AI & Large Language Models

Build Intelligent Agents, Llm-Powered Tools, Generative Apps, and Ai-Driven Solutions that Go Beyond the Ordinary.

Track 2 — Sustainability & Real-World Impact

Tech Solutions Addressing Climate Change, Agriculture, Accessibility, Public Health, or Any Pressing Social Challenge.

Track 3 — Web Dev: Fin Tech & Ed Tech

Next-Generation Web Applications Reshaping how People Manage Money, Learn, Pay, or Build Skills.

Track 4 — Cybersecurity & Blockchain

Secure Systems, Decentralised Applications, Identity Infrastructure, Privacy Tools, and Trust-Layer Technologies.

Track 5 — IoT & Smart Safety Systems

Connected Devices, Sensor-Driven Solutions, Smart Infrastructure, and Real-Time Safety or Monitoring Applications.
