Opening Ceremony and Problem Statement release

The Opening Ceremony of NITS HACKS 7.0 will officially commence this year's event, welcoming participants and setting the stage for two days of innovation and collaboration. Join us as we outline the schedule and introduce this year's theme and esteemed judges. The release of problem statements marks the beginning of the competitive segment of NITS HACKS 7.0. Participants will gain access to challenges tailored to test creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities across all tracks

UI/UX Track - NITS HACKS 7.0 officially starts

With the official start of the UI/UX Track, NITS HACKS 7.0 invites participants to tackle innovative design challenges. This segment will focus on creativity, user experience, and impactful design solutions.

Submission Round

For the submission round, please provide Figma files with view-only access, ensuring all design elements and flows are visible for evaluation.

Closing ceremony & Winner Announcement

The Closing Ceremony of NITS HACKS 7.0 will announce the winners, celebrating the hard work, innovation, and achievements of participants. Certificates, trophies, and awards will be presented to the top performers as the event concludes.

Event Description:

The UI/UX Track at NITS HACKS 7.0 offers an engaging opportunity for participants to showcase their design skills within the exciting theme of Star Wars. Participants will tackle two unique problem statements that challenge their creativity and innovation. The event begins with an opening ceremony, followed by 24 hours dedicated to developing original designs using Figma. Individuals or teams can collaborate to create user-centred solutions that reflect the theme. This track encourages participants to explore their design capabilities while connecting with peers and gaining valuable experience in the field of UI/UX design. Join us for an inspiring journey into a galaxy far, far away!

Event Details:

  • Date: 8th Nov - 9th November, 2024
  • Mode: Both online and in-person options available (Offline for students of NIT Silchar ) 
  • Duration: 24 hours (excluding opening ceremony )
  • Participation Fee: Free
  • Submission Format: Figma files
  • Participation Format: Individual
  • Prizes: Winners and runners-up will be awarded goodies and cash prizes.

Rules and Guidelines:

To ensure a smooth and organised experience for all participants in the UI/UX Track of NITS HACKS 7.0, please adhere to the following rules and guidelines:

  • WhatsApp Group: After completing registration, all participants must join the designated WhatsApp group for further instructions and updates.
    **WhatsApp link will be shared through email only.**
  • Opening Ceremony Attendance: Attendance at the opening ceremony is mandatory for all participants who are present on the college campus.
  • Onsite Check-In: Following the opening ceremony, a check-in process will be conducted for participants who are physically attending the event on campus.
  • Problem Statement Announcement: Two problem statements will be announced during the opening ceremony. Participants will need to choose one of the two problem statements and submit their designs based on it. The hackathon will commence immediately after the announcement.
  • Submission Requirements: Participants are required to create the following deliverables using Figma only.
  • Submission Deadline: Submissions must be made via the designated Google submission form after the 24-hour period. Participants must share their Figma files, documentation of the design process, and a video of the design prototype during submission.
  • Results Announcement: The results will be declared during the closing ceremony, where winners and runners-up will be recognized.
