Back End Developer Internship

FrameFlicks is looking for enthusiastic and skilled interns to join our backend development team. This Work From Home internship offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of server-side applications, databases, and full-stack development. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using languages like Python, Java, and/or Node.js.
• Design, develop, and manage databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python or Node.js.
• Experience with databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of REST API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience and Expectations:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates with experience in backend development or full-stack development.
