Chemical Engineering Internship

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Chemical Engineer Intern (Fresher) to join our team and contribute to the production of Salicylaldehyde and Coumarin. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in chemical process development, manufacturing operations, and quality control in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Monitoring: Assist in overseeing and optimizing chemical processes for Salicylaldehyde and Coumarin production under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Lab Work & Analysis: Conduct laboratory experiments, analyze raw materials and product samples using HPLC, GC, and spectroscopic techniques.
• Production Support: Support day-to-day plant operations, learn about reaction kinetics, distillation, crystallization, and filtration techniques.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Data Collection & Reporting: Record process parameters, analyze trends, and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with senior engineers to suggest and implement process optimizations for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering (2023/2024 pass-outs preferred).
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of organic chemistry, process engineering, and industrial safety.
• Analytical Skills: Familiarity with laboratory techniques and chemical analysis methods.
• Problem-Solving: Eagerness to learn and apply troubleshooting techniques in manufacturing.
• Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Exposure to reactor operations, distillation, and separation processes during academic projects or internships.
• Knowledge of DCS/SCADA systems and basic programming for process automation.
