Data Engineering and Graph Database Internship

Role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Data Engineering and Graph Database Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Neo4j, a leading graph database technology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data engineering, an interest in graph databases, and the ability to handle complex data relationships in a dynamic learning environment. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of working with multiple types of databases and integrating them, especially with document databases and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with Neo4j to model and query complex data structures
• Assist in designing and implementing data schemas for various use cases
• Develop and optimize Cypher queries to extract meaningful insights from data
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to integrate graph database solutions into our existing systems, including document databases and CRM systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our data processing workflows
• Document your work and provide clear explanations of your approach and findings

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Basic understanding of database concepts; prior experience with SQL is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and work with Neo4j and Cypher query language
• Ability to handle complex data relationships and large datasets
• Experience with multiple types of databases, including document databases and CRM systems
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
