Roles:
As a Data Scientist Intern, you will assist in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to uncover insights that support decision-making. You’ll get hands-on experience working with real-world datasets and applying machine learning models in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Clean and preprocess raw datasets for modeling
- Create visualizations using matplotlib, seaborn, or Plotly
- Build and evaluate basic machine learning models using scikit-learn
- Document findings and present insights to the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve data-related challenges
- Contribute to ongoing data-driven projects or POCs (Proof of Concepts)
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python (with libraries like pandas, numpy, matplotlib)
- Basic understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases
- Ability to work with Jupyter Notebooks for analysis and reporting
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
