Job Description:
India Texstyles is seeking a passionate and motivated Fashion Design Intern to join our team. This unpaid internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the fashion industry, particularly in the field of textile design.
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Assist in creating designs and concepts for textile products, including fabrics, prints, and patterns.
- Collaborate with senior designers to develop sketches, mood boards, and color palettes.
- Conduct research on current fashion trends, textile techniques, and market demands.
- Assist in sourcing materials and trims for sample development.
- Support the design team in preparing presentations and design pitches.
- Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment construction and fit.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the design studio, including fabric swatches and sample archives.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the design team.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Strong passion for fashion and creativity.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with a keen eye for color, texture, and design aesthetics.
- Prior internship experience in fashion design or textile industry is a plus.
