Awign was started in 2016 with the mission of organizing & fulfilling enterprise work digitally with human aspirations & humanized efforts. Awign creates a bridge between companies & gig-workers by not only providing manpower to these enterprises but also taking the complete onus of finding the gig-workers, mapping them to the work, training them, managing them and getting quality outcomes for the enterprises. All enterprises have to do is give Awign their requirements, and the entire management is taken care of by the Awign team.
Job Overview:
As a Founders Intern specializing in market research, you will play a crucial role in supporting the startup’s growth and strategic initiatives. Your primary focus will be to gather and analyze market data, provide insights into industry trends, and help the company understand its competitive landscape and target audiences. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the founding team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to understand market dynamics, including trends, opportunities, and challenges. Use both qualitative and quantitative methods to gather data.
- Competitive Research: Analyze competitors’ products, services, pricing, and marketing strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Customer Insights: Assist in identifying and profiling target customer segments. Analyze customer feedback and preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain research data, ensuring its accuracy and relevance. Use data visualization tools to present findings effectively.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights. Communicate findings clearly to the founding team and other stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and market shifts. Share relevant information with the team to keep the company ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
- Experience Range: 0 - 1 Year
- Function Marketing
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis and research tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics), and excellent communication skills. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data and trends.
- Experience: Previous internship or project experience related to market research or business analysis is advantageous but not required.
