🧑💻 Code Contest: PDF Generator with Node.js, Lambda & S3
Challenge: Build a serverless Node.js function that fetches data from a DB (or mock), renders it using an HTML template, converts it to a PDF, and uploads it to Amazon S3.
Requirements:
Trigger via Lambda
Render dynamic HTML from DB data
Convert to PDF using a Node.js library (e.g., Puppeteer)
Upload to S3 and return file URL
Tech Stack: Node.js, AWS Lambda, S3, HTML/CSS
Bonus: Support multiple templates, return signed S3 URL, compress PDFs, modular AWS SDK usage
Judging: Code quality, PDF design, error handling, and AWS best practices
Deliver a clean, efficient solution that scales!
Output to be shared with the github link and a sample generated pdf.

Kovon is seeking a highly motivated Junior Backend Developer Trainee for a hybrid internship opportunity. This internship is designed for aspiring backend developers looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Backend Developer Trainee, you will work on real-world projects, contributing to the development and maintenance of backend systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of backend services and APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and debug issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in backend development.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Node.js and related frameworks.
- Experience with MongoDB for database management.
- Understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS (Lambda, S3).
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
- Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Eligibility: Freshers from all engineering, B-Schools, arts, and other backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Candidates graduating in 2023 or 2024 are eligible.
