Details
We are looking for a highly capable Node.Js Developer Intern to optimize our web-based applications' performance.
Internship Summary: You will be collaborating with front-end developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices to support web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Manage and maintain databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection best practices
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Stay updated with the latest Node.js and JavaScript trends and technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks
- Experience with database management (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture
- Understanding of basic DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD, etc.) is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of TypeScript
