QA Engineer Internship

QuinStreet is hiring for the role of QA Engineer Intern!

Responsibilities of the Intern:

• Perform manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Work closely with the development team to understand features and requirements and ensure applications function as expected.
• Document and report bugs and issues in a detailed and clear manner.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, providing feedback on testing progress and issues.
• Contribute to automation efforts by creating or enhancing automation scripts using tools like Selenium, if applicable.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of QA methodologies and concepts.
• Completion of a software testing course.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data verification and validation.
• Basic knowledge of UNIX and SQL.
• Confidence and good communication skills.
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (preferred).
• Knowledge of Java and Selenium WebDriver (preferred).
• Understanding of different types of testing for web apps and websites (preferred).
