Job Responsibilities:
As a Robotics Operating Systems Engineer at Binford Research Labs Pvt Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in the development and operation of the operating systems for our unmanned autonomous systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain the operating systems for our unmanned systems.
- Implement real-time control algorithms and systems to ensure the efficient operation of autonomous robots and drones.
- Interface with hardware components, sensors, and actuators to ensure seamless communication and control.
- Implement security measures and safety protocols to protect against unauthorized access and ensure the safety of autonomous systems.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of operating systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation for operating system design, implementation, and maintenance.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as C/C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and ROS (Robot Operating System).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in operating system development for autonomous robotic systems.
- Familiarity with hardware integration, sensor fusion, and control systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
