About the Opportunity:
At PitchX, we're building a revolutionary platform that transforms how skills are discovered, validated, and matched with real opportunities. We believe in a skill-first, AI-driven hiring ecosystem — and design is at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a creative and user-centric UI/UX Designer to help shape intuitive experiences across our platform, from test-taking interfaces to recruiter dashboards and interactive skill showcases.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and marketing teams to translate ideas into clean, functional user interfaces
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for both mobile and web platforms
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine UX strategies
- Ensure design consistency and alignment with the PitchX brand and user personas
- Develop design systems and component libraries for scalability
- Iterate quickly based on user feedback, team input, and evolving platform needs
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and responsive design
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
- Portfolio showcasing clean UI, effective UX, and functional design thinking
- Ability to understand platform flows and design for both job seekers and recruiters
- Good communication skills and openness to collaboration with a fast-paced startup team
- Bonus: Experience designing dashboards, skill-based platforms, or education/job-tech interfaces
