AI Optimization Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring an analytical and innovative AI Optimization Specialist to join our AI/ML engineering team. You will help improve the performance, efficiency, and scalability of AI models across production systems. This role combines knowledge of machine learning with software engineering and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize machine learning and deep learning models for faster inference and lower resource usage
• Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune model parameters and retraining pipelines
• Reduce model latency and memory footprint for deployment on edge/cloud environments
• Assist in quantization, pruning, and compression of neural networks
• Monitor production model performance and implement enhancements

Required Skills

• Solid foundation in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Understanding of model evaluation, tuning, and hyperparameter optimization
• Basic experience with performance profiling tools and deployment frameworks (e.g., ONNX, TensorRT)
• Strong math and algorithmic skills
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Internship or project involving model optimization or deployment
• Familiarity with edge AI (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Coral) or cloud ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI)
• Exposure to tools like Optuna, Ray Tune, or MLflow

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields
• 2023/2024 graduates interested in building high-performance AI solutions
