Acuity Knowledge Partners is hiring for a role of Analyst - DTS.
Responsibilities of a candidate:
- Understand the requirements.
- Create and maintain Tableau dashboards adhering to the client guidelines and requirements.
- Suggesting and implementing innovative solutions to overcome any limitations in Tableau to meet the requirement.
- Develop automated solutions using PowerShell scripts.
- Monitoring of overnight scheduled jobs execution on ActiveBatch.
- Improve tracking and monitoring of production process (version control, logging, etc.).
- Improve performance by addressing infrastructure issues (architecture workflow, performance, CPU, etc.).
- Communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders to escalate or suggest solution.
- Gain broader proficiency for the product and demonstrate ability to contribute to forward direction.
- Implement or adhere to coding standards and best practices.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail, should work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining high quality standards, a natural aptitude to develop good internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic.
- Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time (TAT)
Requirements:
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- This position requires knowledge and experience in SQL and Python or .Net or Java or Tableau or PowerBI.
- SQL – Intermediate level
- Python or .Net or Java or Tableau or PowerBI – Beginner level to Intermediate level
- Must have extensive experience with object-oriented design principles. Ability to articulate the pros and cons of design/implementation options
- Good understanding of all knowledge areas in software development including requirement gathering, designing, development, testing, maintenance, quality control etc.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices
- Ensure quality of deliverables within project timelines
- Independently manage daily client communication, especially over calls
- Willingness to continually upgrade skills and knowledge of new technologies
- Self-motivated individual and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- High level of attention-to-detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills with Strong problem solving & analytical skills
- Good to have Financial Services knowledge
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thoughts
- Ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines in a changing environment
