Aramex Logistics is hiring for the role of Assistant Tax Manager!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Supervising the preparation of GST returns for multiple registrations.
- Ensure timeliness and correctness in monthly GST payments and periodic GST returns.
- Review of the mechanism for availing of Input Tax Credit and building necessary checks to ensure correct credit is availed.
- Filing of GST refund applications
- Provide inputs on the automation of GST compliance.
- Owning the GST GLs and ensuring the GL represents true and fair value.
- Facilitation and providing necessary data points required for Statutory and Internal Audits
- Drafting the replies to the notices, such as ASMT-10 and DRC-01, with the help of the team and consultants.
- Preparation and submission of relevant data, reconciliations, and information as required by consultants and the GST department.
- GST Advisory
- Analysis of the changes in laws, regulations, accounting principles, and judicial pronouncements, and interpreting their implications from a GST perspective.
- Periodic meetings with teams to resolve the key GST issues.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- At least 1-2 years' experience in handling GST matters
- Experience in Big 4/Mid-Size CA Firm/Logistics industry preferred
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Experience in SAP is preferred.
