Job Description:

• The Actuarial Services team in Business Services (BS) was established in 2005 to provide value-added actuarial support to our different entities globally
• This team is a part of the Analytics Centre of Excellence at BS
• Over the years the team has evolved into firmly establishing itself as an integral part of our different group entities
• The team today is involved in serving our operating companies across both Life insurance and Property & Casualty insurance
• The team has now embarked on the next growth phase entailing new opportunities identification and converting proof of concepts into new engagement support services for BS
• The resource would be a key member of the Actuarial Services team and would work in close collaboration with teams in our entities
• Play a critical role in setting up Actuarial support servicing our various Group entities

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Interact with clients on regular basis, understand their requirements and transform them into a solution framework
• Work on different P&C insurance engagements as per client’s requirements
• Independently analyze project requirements to own and deliver pilot projects/initiatives with very high quality to establish support credibility with our group entities
• Become a trusted partner for our group entities - Engage for capability showcase including visiting entities for opportunity assessment, discussions and piloting solutions
• Resolve client queries effectively and troubleshoot data issues immediately
• Understand business problems and translate the business information into dynamic and effective reports or dashboards to generate meaningful business insights

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of Actuarial & Statistical techniques
• Good Knowledge of Actuarial tools (Excel/ VBA/ SAS/ ResQ) is required
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Experience:
  • 4-6 years of work experience in P&C Insurance in the Actuarial domain
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and be able to resolve any issues that arise so that deliverables are met
