Associate Analyst - Revenue Accounting Data Analytics

United Airlines is hiring for the position of Associate Analyst - Revenue Accounting Data Analytics!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform analysis on PRA data in support of achieving timely and accurate sales & revenue processing and revenue reporting to internal and external sources
• Create reports and dashboards for senior leadership and support monthly & quarterly financial close by providing insights from data
• Execute solutions to business problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques
• Continuously develop and demonstrate improved analysis methodologies
• Ensure alignment and prioritization with business objectives and initiatives – help business owners make faster, smarter decisions
• Sharing of internal best practices and fostering collaboration with internal and external teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics
• 0-2 years of experience in Analytics
• Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working with very large sets of data
• Be proficient in using database querying tools and ability to write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL and/or Microsoft TSQL
• Be familiar with one or more reporting tools – Spotfire / Tableau
• Proven ability to deliver time-sensitive analysis and reports
• Be able to communicate complex quantitative analysis and algorithms in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
• Exhibit written and spoken English fluency
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
