BNP Paribas is hiring for the position of Associate - Hedge Fund Services!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Delivery of audit requests and resolution of all queries on a timely basis
- Ensure appropriate checks and procedures are followed to maintain high-quality deliverables and to avoid an internal audit and ISAE findings
- Compliance with all internal organizational and business policies
- Cash and position reconciliation (accounting vs PB and 3-way) with a resolution of breaks
- Income reconciliation (dividends and interest)
- Manual pricing and pricing review
- P&L review and tolerance checks
- Fees accrual, management and performance fee calculation, and booking
- Capital bookings and reconciliation with Investor services system reports
Requirements:
- PGDBM/ MBA in finance or equivalent or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experience of 0-1 years
- Good understanding and ability to apply basic accounting principles
- Understanding of capital markets, any internship or exposure to capital market operations would be added advantage
- Understanding asset classes like equities, bonds, futures, options, and swaps, while theoretical knowledge is a must, the ability to think through how they operate in the real world would be added advantage

- Banca Nazionale del Lavoro (BNL): Italian lender, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro por BNL listed on the Milan Stock Exchange was acquired up to an extent of 48% (1,467.6 million shares) by BNP Paribas (BNPP) in the year 2006 for $10.8 billion.

- Türk Ekonomi Bankası A.Ş. (“TEB”): reinforcing its position on the Turkish Banking market, BNP Paribas acquired 50% of the holding company which controls the bank Türk Ekonomi Bankası A.Ş. (“TEB”) in the year 2005.

- Jean-Laurent Bonnafé: the current Director General of PNB Paribas, Jean-Laurent Bonnafé completed his graduation from École Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Carrefour. In 2008 he also became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BNP Paribas and was appointed Group Head of Retail Banking.
- Philippe Bordenave: the current COO of BNP Paribas, Philippe Bordenave is a graduate of École Polytechnique and École Nationale d'Administration and joined the BNP in 1985 and served for the development of financial markets activities as Director of the Paris Market Hall from 1987 to 1992 and Director of Markets from 1993 to 1997.
