Backend Developer

We are looking for a Node.js Developer who is passionate about backend development and eager to work on scalable, high-performance applications. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to build, maintain, and optimize APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• API Development & Integration:
  
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
  • Integrate third-party services, APIs, and libraries.
• Authentication & Authorization:
  
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Work with session-based authentication, JWT, OAuth, and other security protocols.
  • Ensure secure API access with role-based access control (RBAC) and token management.
• Database Management:
  
  • Work with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases to store and manage application data.
  • Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Backend Logic & Services:
  
  • Develop robust business logic, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Implement data validation, error handling, and monitoring.
• Code Optimization & Debugging:
  
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot/debug issues effectively.
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
• Version Control & CI/CD:
  
  • Use Git for version control and work collaboratively on feature branches.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
• Error Handling & Security:
  
  • Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring solutions.
  • Ensure secure API communication by following security best practice.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB (or other NoSQL databases).
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with Git version control and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch for search and query optimization.
• Experience with Nginx configuration and deployment.
• Exposure to virtual machines, cloud platforms, or VPS environments.
• Familiarity with AWS, Linode, or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience with message brokers (e.g., SQS, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
