Job Overview:
- The Business Development Manager will be the first point of contact for potential franchise partners, responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads interested in opening an IIT JEE/NEET coaching center franchise. This role requires a dynamic female candidate with strong communication skills and a passion for education and business development to present the value proposition of our established coaching model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify and pursue new franchise sales opportunities, conducting initial outreach to qualify potential leads based on defined criteria (e.g., investment capacity, location viability, passion for education).
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective franchisees, acting as the primary point of contact during the initial stages of the sales process.
- Franchise Presentation: Present the coaching institute's franchise model, business opportunities, and competitive advantages to potential investors through engaging presentations and one-on-one meetings/counseling sessions.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough discussions to understand the prospect's background, business objectives, and concerns, ensuring the proposed solution aligns with their goals.
- Proposal and Documentation: Assist in the preparation of detailed franchise proposals, agreements, and contracts, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal and company standards.
- Collaboration & Handoff: Work closely with the core sales, marketing, and operations teams to facilitate a seamless transition and onboarding process for new franchisees once the deal is closed.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years preferred) in sales, business development, or a pre-sales role, preferably within the education, EdTech, or franchise industry.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory; proficiency in regional language is a plus) with strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients, demonstrating empathy and a customer-centric mindset.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client queries and tailor solutions effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales/presentation tools.
- Work Ethic: Highly motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
