EGrove Systems Corporation is hiring for the role of Business Development Manager!
Job Description:
eGrove Systems Private Limited is seeking skilled and experienced Business Development Executives/Managers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing sales closures within the Tamil Nadu Government sector, specifically in digital and IT initiatives. This role requires deep knowledge of the tendering process, guidelines, and a strong network within various Tamil Nadu government departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Tamil Nadu Government departments and agencies, particularly in digital transformation and IT initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets within the government sector.
- Lead the entire bidding process, including pre-qualification, preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders and RFPs for digital and IT projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in Tamil Nadu Government departments.
- Stay updated with the latest government policies, tender guidelines, and procurement processes to ensure compliance and competitiveness in bids.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and other sales-related documentation tailored to government requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the Tamil Nadu Government sector.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and closures to senior management.
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in business development and sales, focusing on Tamil Nadu Government digital and IT initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of government tender processes, e-procurement platforms, and RFP/RFI documentation.
- Established network and contacts within Tamil Nadu Government departments.
Requirements:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets.
- Familiarity with the functioning and structure of government departments in Tamil Nadu.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
