Data Quality Specialist

S&P Global is hiring for the role of Data Quality Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible to perform accuracy check on various data points collected by data collection team.
• Analyze error trends and root causes of opportunity areas to drive quality improvement ideas.
• Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide support to the Operations team
• Increase learning by accomplishing Learning Xchange & LinkedIn Learning modules as well as modules for policy compliance
• Innovate and drive process excellence initiatives or projects for enriching quality of datasets
• Deliver on expected productivity and timeliness targets.
• Solution Oriented Thoughtprocess and zeal to upskilling
• Red flag any area which can impact the BAU.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in financial services/investment management
• Expert knowledge of Private Markets dataset specifically on Firm, Professional and Fund Profiling.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and strong in logical reasoning
• Client first focus and mindset
• Product knowledge of Capital IQ & Capital IQ Pro/Xpressfeed will be desirable
• Technical acumen on tools such as ‘Spark Assist’, ‘GEN AI’, ‘SQL’ and ‘Python’ would be added advantage
• Flexible to adapt to various work environments. 
• Flexible with Shift Timings
