Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative facade solutions for various building types, including commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of facades into the overall building design.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for facade systems.
• Conduct research and analysis on new materials, technologies, and design trends in the facade industry.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to facade design and construction.
• Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and suppliers involved in facade installation.
• Ensure the quality and safety of all facade systems designed and installed.
• Provide technical support to clients and project teams throughout the design and construction process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facade design and engineering.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to facades.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Nice to Have:

• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification.
• Experience with sustainable facade design principles.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Proficiency in additional design software such as Rhino or Grasshopper.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera or MS Project.
