DevOps Engineer

ZOG Global is hiring for the role of DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with software development teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our applications.
• Automate and streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to increase operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure our infrastructure’s availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises servers.
• Establish and enforce security best practices to protect our systems and data.
• Work with development and QA teams to ensure proper testing and validation of infrastructure changes.
• Assess and implement new tools and technologies to enhance our DevOps practices.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours support as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong understanding of SAST tools (SonarQube, Brakeman, Bandit), DAST tools (Zap proxy, Purple Team, Wapiti), and pre-commit hooks (Talisman, Sonarlint, git-secrets) 
• Experience with various DevOps tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar. 
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions, such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
