Digital Identity Architect

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Digital Identity Architect to design and implement secure, scalable, and privacy-centric digital identity solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in identity management systems (IAM, CIAM), authentication protocols, and zero-trust architectures to support enterprise and consumer-facing platforms.
• You will work across engineering, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to architect next-generation identity and access management frameworks, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement digital identity frameworks including authentication, authorization, and identity federation.
• Architect solutions using IAM/CIAM platforms (Okta, Azure AD, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, etc.).
• Implement modern authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and FIDO2.
• Define access control models (RBAC, ABAC, PBAC) and integrate them with enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce zero-trust principles and privacy-by-design frameworks.
• Integrate digital identity services with cloud and on-prem applications through APIs.
• Evaluate and deploy decentralized identity technologies (DID, verifiable credentials, blockchain-based identity).
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, DPDP Act, ISO 27001).

Required Skills:

• Strong technical understanding of IAM architecture, SSO, MFA, and identity federation.
• Experience with cloud identity services (AWS Cognito, Azure B2C, Google Identity Platform).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go for automation and integration scripting.
• Knowledge of directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) and PKI systems.
• Familiarity with API security, tokenization, and cryptographic identity mechanisms.
• Excellent understanding of compliance frameworks and security governance.
