Electrical Quality Engineer

Siemens is hiring for the role of Electrical Quality Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working on Single Line Diagram, Standard Schematic, and Electrical drawings of switchgears.
• Working on JT files or other drawing reference tools for verification of assemblies.
• Ensure compliance and incorporation of necessary changes suggested by customers during inspection and ensure the same in the panel before dispatch.
• Ensure products comply with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct tests on in-process products and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify defects or deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions.
• Performing routine testing of MV panels as per relevant IEC and IS standards, product checklists, quality code book, and customer requirements.
• Suggesting improvements to eliminate waste.
• Providing feedback to concerned supervisor regarding overall order-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and prevent quality issues.
• Communicate production team on quality control observations.
• Final quality release of the product.
• Ensure proper documentation of all test procedures, findings, and results, and file the respective protocols.
• May operate various types of test equipment.

Requirements:

• Expertise in knowledge of Single Line Diagram, Standard Schematic, and Electrical drawings of switchgears.
• Good knowledge of EHS guidelines to be followed during electrical and mechanical testing.
