IndiGo is hiring for the role of Flight Dispatcher - Trainee!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Assist the Flight Dispatchers in monitoring VHF/HF/SATCOM/ACARS communication on real real-time basis and maintaining records/logs of the same.
- Provide readily available information on the latest weather, airfield limitations etc. for assistance to Flight Dispatcher and Flight Crew.
- Assist Flight dispatcher in Flight follow-up.
- Retrieve FIC/ADC for all flights and follow up wherever the ATS plan is not available, take appropriate action i.e. extract the ATS PLAN from OFP and send it to the respective station/ATC unit.
- Monitor maintenance status of Aircraft and ZFW change mails and inform Flight Dispatchers accordingly.
- Attend incoming telephone calls and transfer calls to respective Flight Dispatchers i.e. according to the responsibilities assigned.
Requirements:
- Education Qualification: BE/B.Tech - Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical or B.Sc - Maths/Physics/Statistics with a strong academic track record and PCM in 10+2
- Individuals passionate about building a career in the Aviation industry
- Strong analytical mindset with a knack for number crunching
- Excellent communication skills
- Good written and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and task-orientation
