Flipkart Application Engineer-1 Drive

Flipkart is currently seeking talented Computer Science and Information Technology graduates to join us as Application Engineers. 

Assessment Round Guidelines:

• Each candidate will receive 2 coding questions and 10 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the Assessment Round.
• Candidates will have 50 minutes to complete the coding questions and 10 minutes to answer the MCQs. (Total: 60 Minutes)
• Please ensure to copy your code before moving to the second coding question. If you fail to do so, the code for the first question will be cleared.
• In case of any conflicts, the decision of the organizers will be final.

Key Requirements:

• Female candidates only
• 2024 Graduate with a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology ONLY.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and version control systems (Git)
• Passion for problem-solving and continuous learning

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of software application functionality and propose enhancements.
• Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of both front-end and back-end applications.
• Automate self-service tools and implement fixes, enhancements, and minor features within the product/platform.
• Offer software application support across all applications owned by the business unit/team.
• Collaborate with the software development team, internal users, and clients to enhance application performance.
• Oversee code migration across environments to maintain seamless functionality.
• Identify root causes of application errors and implement permanent code fixes.
• Promptly escalate critical issues to Senior Engineers to swiftly restore application health.
• Maintain detailed records of configuration changes and schedule application updates.
• Document processes and monitor application performance metrics.
• Assist clients and colleagues in other departments as required.

Compensation:

• CTC: INR 10,00,000
  • Base Salary: ₹700,000
  • Performance Bonus: Up to ₹70,000
  • Joining Bonus: ₹150,000
  • Retention Bonus: ₹150,000
  • Insurance and Gratuity included Relocation Allowance: ₹30,000
  • Relocation Allowance: ₹30,000 (Reimbursement)

Additional Notes:

• Retention Bonus: ₹150,000, payable in the 25th month with a clawback period of 1 year from the date of payment.
• Joining Bonus: ₹150,000, with a clawback period of 2 years.
