ITS (Cloud) Administrator

Iris is hiring for the role of ITS (Cloud) Administrator!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Configure and manage core Azure services, including Virtual Machines (VM), Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSG), Load Balancers, Azure Firewall, and Azure Front Door.
• Administer identity and access using Azure Active Directory (AD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies.
• Deploy and maintain Azure Web Apps and SQL databases, leveraging Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for performance tracking and diagnostics.
• Utilize Azure Backup and Web Application Firewall (WAF) for data protection and security compliance.
• Manage multiple Azure subscriptions, enforce policies, and implement cost optimization strategies.
• Use Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell for provisioning and automation tasks.
• Support Azure Virtual Desktop environments with basic configuration and management.
• Handle user and license management tasks within Office 365, ensuring patching and compliance requirements are met.
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Lambda.
• Understand AWS Organizations, consolidated billing practices, and implement security controls.
• Apply SQL and database programming knowledge for cloud database environments (SQL/Oracle).
• Utilize basic features and tools in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Maintain strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and ensure technical clarity.

Requirements:

• VM, VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Azure Firewall, Azure AD, Azure Front Door, Azure Backup, WAF
• Proficiency in Azure Portal, Azure CLI, PowerShell
• Knowledge of managing multiple Azure subscriptions and policies
• Deploy/manage Web Apps and SQL databases in Azure
• Use of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, for performance monitoring
• Basic knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop and cost optimization strategies
• Any of EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda
• Understanding of AWS Organizations and consolidated billing/security controls
• IAM, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, least privilege, patching, compliance
• User/license management, general Office 365 administration
• Awareness and basic usage knowledge of Google Cloud
