Junior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer with 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our infrastructure automation, manage containerized applications, and contribute to our CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleC
• Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery processes to minimize manual intervention
• Support deployment automation and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Assist in building and maintaining Docker container clusters managed by Kubernetes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized environments
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Assist in the deployment and management of cloud resources and infrastructure
• Automate deployment processes using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot infrastructure issues Collaborate with development teams to streamline coding, testing, and deployment procedures Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in IT, DevOps, or system administration with exposure to cloud environments
• Basic understanding of CI/CD principles and containerization technologies
• Experience with Docker for creating and managing containers
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Experience working with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• Practical use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience setting up monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
