- Creating part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan systems.
- Creating AVL (Approved Vendor List) in Agile & Baan systems.
- Downloading customer documents like product specifications, and releasing the same in CDC.
- Working as a Change Analyst during NPI (New Product Introduction) for new changes.
- Releasing Part lists to production for new models & after implementation of ECOs (Engineering Change Orders).
- Efficiently managing ECOs for manufacturing sites across the globe.
- Using an Agile (PLM) system for ECO creation, reviewing, routing, tracking, releasing, and distribution.
- Studying the ECOs / Drawings closely and coordinating with the site Process/Product Engineering team.
- Working closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates/modifications.
- Responding to Business Partners (requestors) and customers on queries relating to Engineering Change Orders.
- Ensuring adherence to targets set for all process metrics.
Requirements:
- B.E. (EEE/ECE) graduate with 1-2 years of experience as an NPI/ECO Engineer in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry.
- Hands-on experience in the following domains:
- NPI (New Product Introduction)
- ECO (Engineering Change Order management)
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Management
- PLM software linked to the ECO process
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (MANDATORY).
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Good analytical skills.
- Coaching & mentoring skills.
- Conflict resolution abilities
