Junior Quality Engineer

Cornerstone is hiring for the role of Quality Junior Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work in a cutting-edge agile software development environment as a Quality Assurance Test Intern ensuring the quality of the CSOD Classroom platform and its       integrations with the SBX platform
• Will receive training to gain a technical and functional understanding of our product architecture and become part of our ongoing feature and enhancement development effort
• Working under a QE lead to contribute to the product testing cycles
• Write automated tests at the unit, services/integration, and UI layers, using Selenium, Robot Framework and many more of the software automation tools
• Analyze defects/test results and be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failure to enhance software quality
• Assist in creation and review of rich technical documentation and online help
• Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner to scrum team and other software test team members

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or MCA/M.Sc. Computer (or equivalent)
• Working knowledge in object-oriented programming in Java/other programing/scripting languages
• Knowledge in front-end automation framework.  Selenium and Robot Framework preferred.
• Knowledge in web services and/or API Testing
• Knowledge in at least one scripting language
• A self-starter that is proactive, and highly motivated
• Excellent communication skills.
