Firstatom is hiring for the role of Logistics Executive!
Position: Freight Broker (WFO)
Experience Required: Minimum 1+ year as a freight Broker
Location: Mohali
Shift Timings: 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM
Roles:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify and engage reliable carriers to facilitate transportation.
- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to maximize profit margins.
- Monitor shipment status and provide updates to clients and carriers.
- Prepare reports on shipments, carrier performance, and market trends for management review.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role within the logistics industry (minimum of 2 years preferred).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and freight brokerage software.
