Bayer is hiring for the role of Manager Taxation!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Support for computing current & deferred Tax/ Tax audit Report / Advance Tax – Computation of Tax working for both local and foreign accounts as per Ind AS, Internal Guidelines, and tax laws. Compilation of information required for preparation of quarterly advance tax payments and Annual Tax Audit Report filings
- TDS Compliance – Monthly calculation & payment, quarterly returns, certificate issuance, and vendor query resolution.
- TDS Reconciliation – To match certificates with online tax credit statements.
- General Ledger Review – Ensure books are updated for direct tax entries.
- Form 15CA Authentication and Section 195 compliances – Advising rates applicable to foreign remittances and adherence to compliances required in connection with foreign remittances.
- Support for overseas group entity’s tax filings and assessment to include:
- Coordination with Consultants / internal stakeholders for income reconciliation
- Review of tax computation /ITR / submissions/ responses to 133(6) notices etc.
- Filing of FATCA form and review by US FATCA team
- Preparation of response to TDS / 133(6) / 133C / e-verification notices, Capital gain working on Mutual Funds
- Collating data for ITR filing from relevant stakeholders and validating with signed Financials
- Coordination with Bayer Overseas LEs for obtaining TRC / NO PE / e-form 10F required for remittances to group entities
- Support for Tax Assessment/litigation
- Ongoing liasoning with Tax Authorities – follow up for rectification / refund / demand correction
- Adherence to SFT compliance
- Compile and coordinate details for assessments and appeals.
- Filling income tax return / drafting submission for tax assessment
Requirements:
- Accountant with minimum 2-3 years of experience in handling assignments in taxation arena (Chartered Accountant/ Inter CA).
- Knowledge of compliance requirements as per Income Tax Act
- Knowledge of TDS compliance software like TRACES, Taxmann, etc.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Good interactive skills and Team player
