NeoSoft Technologies is hiring for the role of Network Engineer L1!
Responsibilities:
- Complete knowledge and installation experience of CWDM/DWDM fiber backbone operations.
- Manage fiber backbone operations and cross-connections within data centers.
- Configure and deploy networking devices such as servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Handle dark fiber optics and related technologies.
- Collaborate with peering partners, vendors, and CDNs on network service analysis and performance tuning.
- Manage network device inventory and availability for remote DC night activity.
- Ensure effective communication with customers and internal teams to handle conflicts.
- Work in a rotational shift as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Juniper hardware and software.
- Working knowledge of network devices such as Junos and Huawei, along with routing protocol configuration such as BGP, OSPF, LACP, L3 VPN, TACACS+, SNMP, Firewalls, and Filters.
- Hands-on experience with CWDM and DWDM technologies.
- Familiarity with dark fiber optics and related technologies.
- Proficiency in the local language (Tamil for Chennai, Telugu for Hyderabad).
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts with customers and internal teams.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or substantiated exceptional ability for the role.
