PHP Software Engineer

Petpooja is hiring for the role of PHP Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Responsible for working as a full stack developer either for front-end or back-end or with DB or conceptualizing architecting with the existing or new functionalities.
• Responsible for making a function live and enhanced based on the feedback received from the customers.
• Resolve technical issues that are escalated by junior and mid-level developers.
• Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for team members.
• Handle large quantum either with database, scaling an API, or creating server-less architecture based upon the feature developed and handled till last.
• Create, debug, and enhance the existing or new functionalities based on the requirement.
• Collaborately work with engineering, functional, and core teams to create large-scale applications.

Requirements:

• Graduation degree in engineering is required
• 1 - 6 Years of relevant work experience is essential
• Strong understanding of MVC design patterns and fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Familiarity with MySQL databases and their declarative query languages. Experience in DB design (data normalization, foreign key constraints, indexes) Preferred Skill Sets
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Codeigniter, Cakephp, Laravel, etc.)
• Effective problem-solving skills to solve complex performance and architectural challenges
• Ability to work with the senior team to undertake regular IT & documentation audits
