Hewlett Packard is hiring for trhe position of Privacy Consent - Software Development Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Provide direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing
- Develop new products, enhancements and updates and coordinating projects for end-user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet-based platforms
- Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps
- Communicate project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution
- Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage human capital across geographies to drive workforce development and achieve desired results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills

Corporate Social Responsibility:
Apart from innovating technology that makes everyone’s lives better, HP Inc. India offers technological solutions to the digital divide by bringing the world of information and knowledge to isolated and disadvantaged groups in rural India through its CSR initiatives, further supporting to link the digital wisdom gap confronted by those residing in remote areas. A few of the initiatives launched were:
- Children’s Day celebration at Thummanahalli Government School: on the 14th November of 2018, the volunteers from HP India conducted “Introduction to Computers” session in the World on Wheels Bus to the 7th& 8th Grade students with nearly 50 students participating in these classes at Thummanahalli, Karnataka, India. Volunteers also conducted drawing competitions, some dance, and song by the students, and donation of sports equipment to the school.
- Dayout with Kids: on the 11th of December 2018, the volunteers from HP India along with NGO UPAY (Underprivileged Advancement by Youth) spent a day at one of the centers near Sikanderpur Metro Station, Gurgaon to engage with underprivileged children and bring smiles on the faces. The volunteers conducted activities such as games, Quiz, Dance and Singing, Stationery and Fruits distribution plus Talk on the importance of education
- Hour Of Code with Students: on the 14th of December 2018, around 25 volunteers from HP India, participated in "Hour of Code" wherein they spent one hour with Grade 3rd, 4th, and 5th students to provide fundamental education on computer operation and Coding. Other CSR activities such as Plantation, Kabbadi Match with Class V students, Beautification of Room which turns into Library of the school, Lemon Spoon Race, etc. were also initiated.
