Program Manager/ Scrum Master

Fortive is hiring for the role of Program Manager/ Scrum Master!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Responsible for the entire life cycle of assigned program/portfolio(s), including cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) for multiple teams.
• Gain a solid understanding of customer requirements and manage potential risks while controlling project timelines.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.
• Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment to enhance team performance.
• Coordinate and manage the Agile Release Train events, including PI Planning, Sync, and System Demos.
• Collaborate with Product Management, System Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of value.
• Track and communicate key metrics, progress and status to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, fostering a culture of trust and continuous improvement.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of SAFe6.0 practices across the organization.

Requirements: 

• Certified SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master (SSM)/ Release Train Engineer (RTE).
• Proven experience in managing multiple Agile teams within a value stream.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe framework.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in different geographical locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
