Backend Developer - AI & API Specialist:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in API development, AI agent implementation, and database management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and the ability to deploy and scale applications effectively.

Core Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Hono or Express with TypeScript

Create and implement AI agents using LangChain.js/Mastra ai/vercel ai sdk and other AI frameworks for automated workflows and intelligent features

Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance, security, and scalability

Build robust RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between server-side applications and client interfaces

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements built with React/Next.js

Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments, ensuring proper scaling and performance

Implement security best practices and data protection measures across all backend systems

Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Stay updated with latest trends and best practices in backend development and AI technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js ecosystems

Hands-on experience with Hono, Express, or similar backend frameworks

Experience implementing and working with AI tools such as LangChain.js/Mastra ai/vercel ai sdk or similar AI frameworks

Solid understanding of PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and management

Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs with proper documentation

Working knowledge of React and Next.js for frontend integration purposes

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills
Experience with Bun.js runtime environment

Knowledge of microservices architecture and implementation

Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and large language models

Experience with real-time applications and WebSockets

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Experience with performance testing and optimization techniques

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in backend development with TypeScript

Demonstrated experience building and deploying production-ready applications
