Risk Management Analyst

Mastercard is hiring for the role of Risk Management Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Monitor 24x7 global customer exposures to prevent organizational losses.
• Track and report CEM (Current Exposure Method) volumes using established and new procedures.
• Escalate urgent situations (e.g., bankruptcies, insolvencies, negative news) to Risk Managers, Directors, or VPs promptly.
• Adhere to escalation protocols and refer to past precedents.
• Coordinate with account managers and customers on open settlement positions to verify issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share best practices.
• Handle ad hoc analytics and collaborate with advanced data analysts for automation of recurring tasks.
• Assist in preparing internal and external CRM-related reports (e.g., SEC filings, audit committee reports).
• Recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities.

Requirements:

• Graduate/postgraduate degree in business, economics, econometrics, or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in credit risk assessment or financial statement analysis (nice to have).
• High accuracy, strong sense of responsibility, and urgency.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor.
• Willingness to work in shifts (flexibility required).
