Mergers and Acquisitions:

• In 2006, the IT services business of NIIT was demerged into a separately listed company NIIT Technologies. NIIT Limited now focuses on Vocational Training for Services Sectors, Corporate Training and Education and Training in Schools. NIIT Limited owns 23.98% of NIIT Technologies.
• Acquisition of Eagle Productivity Solutions- In January 2018, NIIT acquired Eagle International Institute, Inc., doing business as Eagle Productivity Solutions (Eagle), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, NIIT (USA), Inc. Headquartered in Rochester USA, Eagle is a top-rated global provider that specializes in training solutions for companies adopting sophisticated cloud-based enterprise applications in the Pharmaceutical and the Life Sciences industry.

• NIIT University was inaugurated on November 15, 2009, is situated in Neemrana, Rajasthan. Corporate Social Responsibility:

NIIT offers Education as well as Employment Enhancing Vocational Skills Solutions which are specifically targeted at underprivileged children and youth. In partnership with PSUs and Private Organizations whose CSR mandate includes education and skilling, we create custom offerings that mobilize students, train them in the areas which have been mutually agreed on and then place them in private sectors.
