Job Overview:
We are hiring an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to support and manage complex SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, ECC, CAR, SLT, BO, PO, Solution Manager, and cloud platforms (CPI, SAM). The role involves system administration, performance tuning, installations, upgrades, and ongoing system support in a 24x7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP environments across HANA, Oracle, Sybase
- Perform installations, refreshes, system/client copies, kernel upgrades
- Monitor SAP systems, execute performance analysis, and manage background jobs
- Troubleshoot ABAP & Java stack issues
- Handle technical monitoring and Early Watch Alerts (EWA) via Solution Manager
- Conduct backup/restore operations
- Provide 24x7 support in a rotating shift model
Must-Have Skills:
- SAP Basis with 3–5 years of hands-on experience
- Experience with S/4HANA, ECC, BO, PO, Solution Manager
- Proficiency with Linux/AIX OS, networking, and SAP database operations
- SUM tools, transport management, and performance tuning expertise
- SAP Certification preferred
Education:
BE/BTech, BCA, MCA, MSc(IT), MBA(IT)
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
- Effective communicator with stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in team and client-facing roles
