Muthoot Fincorp ONE is hiring for the role of Senior Android Developer!
About Role:
You will be working with the world-class engineering team in designing and developing
high-quality modern mobile applications in Fin-tech. Your contribution to the Android development team will have a direct impact on touching millions of users
We are looking for an experienced Android developer to join our technology team. If you have
excellent software design and programming skills and a passion for developing scalable applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
- Develop advanced applications from scratch for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Write unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- Solid 4 to 6 Years of experience in Android app development
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging
Technologies - Prior knowledge of integration for Payments Module(Ex: RazorPay, Cashfree, PayU SDK)
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Good understanding and experience of unit testing
Good to have (not mandatory):
- Previous startup experience would be a huge plus
- Previous exposure to the Fintech industry would be nice
- Have published at least one large-scale Android app
