Walmart is hiring for the role of Software Engineer III!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Code, test, and deploy cutting-edge software solutions at scale.
- Collaborate with senior team members in gathering requirements, participating in design discussions, and contributing to the end-to-end development process.
- Interact with Walmart engineering teams globally, leveraging expertise and actively contributing to the tech community.
- Develop and support products from inception to end-user delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline with 3 to 6 years of core software product development experience.
- Strong fundamentals in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, databases, and operating systems.
- 3 or more years of hands-on experience with Python, React, and databases (SQL, No-SQL), including API development.
- Proficiency with Python libraries such as Pandas and Numpy, and hands-on experience in developing web applications using FastAPI.
- Working experience with the Polars library is a plus.
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or similar, is advantageous.
- Self-motivated learner and builder with a strong customer focus and a commitment to quality.
- Experience with dev-ops, including CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, is a plus.
