Natwest Group is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - Murex!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Helping to design and develop reusable libraries and application programming interfaces for use across the bank.
- Delivering software components to enable the delivery of platforms, applications, and services.
- Helping to design and develop high volume, high performance, and high availability applications using proven frameworks and technologies.
- Supporting well-thought-out estimates after a thorough consideration of design, build, and testing of complexity maintainability and serviceability.
Requirements:
- A background in implementing programming best practices, especially around scalability, availability, and performance
- Experience in test-driven development alongside the use of automated test frameworks, mocking and stubbing, and unit testing tools
- Expertise in Murex development
- The ability to understand support, modify, and maintain systems and code developed by other engineering teams
- Experience working with code repositories, bug-tracking tools, and wikis
