Software Engineer (R&D - Java/J2EE)

Manhattan Associates is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - R&D - Java/J2EE!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and develop large-scale, multi-tier, distributed software products
• Build resilient and cloud-ready solutions
• Be responsible for the quality of software; we believe quality is the responsibility of the developer
• Estimate and plan your own work and the work of others in the group
• Evaluate software (or configuration) issues with many areas of the system and resolve them in a timely manner
• Implement changes to the system assuring the changes do not introduce new issues
• Document all work

Requirements:

• Experience Range - 2 years to 3 years
• Strong experience in Java, and J2EE technologies. Core Java + Spring Boot
• Strong experience in development and delivery experience with distributed commercial software applications
• Experience working with Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices
• Exposure to cloud technologies, Microservices and frameworks such as Amazon Web Services, container technologies like Docker is a plus
