Mergers & Acquisitions:

• Scyfer B.V.: a company affiliated with the University of Amsterdam that has built artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for companies worldwide and in a number of different industries, Scyfer B.V. was acquired by Qualcomm Technologies in August 2017, as a measure to focus on the implementation of AI on end devices, i.e., smartphones, cars, robotics and the like—to ensure that processing would be possible without or with a network or Wi-Fi connection.
• Stonestreet One LLC: acquired by Qualcomm on September 24, 2014, Stonestreet One LLC is a software company specializing in Bluetooth software solutions.
• CSR Plc: a leading fabless developer of end-to-end software and semiconductor solutions for the IoE (Internet of Everything) and automobile divisions, CSR Plc, was acquired by Qualcomm Global Trading Pte. Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qualcomm, in August 2015 at an enterprise value of approximately $2.2 billion ($2.4 billion equity value).
• Ikanos Communications, Inc.: a high-functioning broadband networking semiconductor and software supplier facilitating both principal office and home gateway solutions, Ikanos Communications, Inc., was acquired by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated namely Qualcomm Atheros, Inc., in September 2015 for $2.75 per share in cash amounting to $47 million.
